The focus
of Business Chaplaincy is highly corporative; it seeks
to impact society through management that promotes
all areas of corporate life. Paraguay needs to change
and be transformed into a successful country, a country
that God blesses, where we all want to live. Business
Chaplaincy supports character growth of its associates
to help them become persons of integrity that live
in harmony with God’s principles every day.
Promoting the Kingdom of God in the World of work
is our vision, and for this reason we strive to train
chaplains that can be a blessing in numerous companies
in our country and region. We are grateful to see
that this work does not have a negative reputation
on either a local or regional level, reinforcing our
conviction that it springs from the creative heart
of God, and makes us forerunners of a program which
will undoubtedly benefit everyone.
Below you will find a more detailed look at the course
contents. This is a post-university level training
course that seeks to develop a pool of persons equipped
with adequate tools to deal with the problems that
arise in the workplace, by applying solutions with
a biblical focus. The program contains 13 modules,
each lasting 10 hours. The subjects taught are:

• Introduction and Implementation of BC
in a specific company.
• Anabaptist Theology
• Paraguayan Worldview
• Legal and Judicial Aspects Relating
to the Workplace
• Basics of Interpersonal and Social Communication
• Qualities and Profile of a Chaplain
• Financial Management and Budgeting
• Crisis Intervention
• Family Counseling
• The Workplace as Platform for Evangelism

This wide
variety of topics gives the chaplain highly relevant
and concrete handles to carry out his work as change
agent within a company, offering insights based on
a correct interpretation of the organizational environment.
Upon conclusion of these 13 modules, which include
practicum in businesses in the BC program, the graduate
is prepared to form part of the chaplaincy staff of
any firm, efficiently contributing in collaboration
with the Human Resources Department.
To be eligible for this course one must have:

• Completed a 4-year university degree
program
• Be a baptized member of an evangelical
church
• Show evidence of service vocation

The words of our Lord Jesus Christ, “Go and
make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the
name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, and
teaching them to observe all I have commanded you.“
(Matthew 28:19-20) are the motor that propels this
ministry.
